Dynamic Science, Inc. (DSI) is at the forefront of providing state-of-the-art aviation consultancy services. Our team combines industry experience, cutting-edge technology, and a customer-centric approach to meet the needs of our clients. We are committed to delivering unparalleled air traffic management, ramp coordination, and related technical services.
DSI enjoys a proud history of achievements that have improved the safety of everyone who has ridden an automobile, a truck, a bus, a plane, a helicopter, or a train. In addition, DSI’s work has contributed to the safety of the U.S. armed forces through the design and development of crashworthy fuel systems, aviation safety programs, and weapon systems testing and evaluation.
Through its long history of service and since its formation in 1942, DSI has strived to exceed customer expectations as it researched aviation safety. During the early 1970’s, in what might be DSI’s most important contribution to civilian traffic safety, the company focused its testing on passive restraint systems for automobiles, and began its first air bag crash test.
Today, thanks to DSI’s efforts, all vehicles are equipped with seat belts and air bags. The 1970’s was also impacted by the energy crisis, and DSI began research on energy conservation in an effort to lower energy costs and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.
Among DSI’s team of engineers, one had extensive experience with the Minuteman and Titan missiles, and had also led a team of engineers that had designed the Apollo mission’s descent engine. This engineer, named Ralph Rockow, quantified DSI’s philosophy of providing exemplary service to its customers. In 1982, Mr. Rockow formed Exodyne, Inc., and that same year, Rockow’s company bought DSI.
The 1980’s was a revolutionary decade for the United States and for DSI, as it focused on engineering services. In addition, Mr. Rockow called on his passion to help disadvantaged youth by contracting with the Department of Labor (DOL) as a Job Corps center operator. That initial Job Corps contract was the genesis of what would become another division of Exodyne, Inc.,
In the years that followed, DSI’s committed employees have helped maintain helicopters, test missiles, study cell phone use in automobiles, and bus crash causation studies. In addition, DSI would go on to operate airport ramp control and gate management, air traffic control services, and continue extensive accident investigations and engineering services.
DSI supports our armed forces by providing technicians and scientists who develop new materials to defeat enemy firepower and terrorists’ explosives.
DSI provides homeland defense by operating Air Traffic Control towers at some of the key Air Force Reserve bases that protect our nation’s air space. In addition, DSI provides Ramp Control and Airfield management services at several Commercial Airports throughout the National Airspace System.
DSI was acquired by ATCSI, LLC., in July of 2022 and is now a Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned/Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (EDWOSB/SDVOSB)
The foundation of DSI’s mission is to continue to surpass customer’s expectations.
